2010 MembershipNike Fleet Feet Racing is an adult running team for dedicated racers. The Nike Fleet Feet Racing team has a 100 member limit and it is important that all members understand the team's commitment to racing. Although the team doesn't have a minimum amount of races you must compete in each year, nor are there qualifying standards, our members typically race 6 to 12 times per year and we are categorized as a competive racing team. The team is intended to support local dedicated racers, if you are unable or do not plan to race regularly at local events then please do not apply for membership. Our team goal is simple; camaraderie and an active membership base. The Nike Fleet Feet Racing team will help each team member maximize their ability with a year-round training regimen that focuses on local and regional races. In addition, team members promote and support the store and team sponsors, demonstrate good sportsmanship, and give back to the running community through volunteering and charitable activities.
To be invited to join or renew, prospective members must meet all of the following requirements:
The 2010 Nike Fleet Feet Racing team has already met it 100 person cap. The team does not take a waiting list. We do experience a very high retention rate from one year to the next however we do expect to have a few spots available in 2011.
Because of the overwhelming increase in interest in the Nike Fleet Feet Racing team we have created a new training program called FIT Training. FIT Training essentially provides a similar structure of coaching and group dynamic as the Nike Fleet Feet Racing team with an emphasis on improving one’s speed and performance. FIT Training is also coached by our racing team coach, Chad Worthen. For more information about FIT Training visit http://www.fleetfeetsacramento.com/fit.
These standards are not absolute requirements for membership. They are intended to provide a guideline for potential applicants. Applicants with the ability to meet these standards will find training partners of like ability on the Nike Fleet Feet Racing team.
